This policy explains what personal data quantex.com.sg collects, why, and how it is handled. The website is operated by AlgoTrade Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore. We follow Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

What we collect

Internship applications. When you apply through our form, we collect the details you enter: name, year of birth, email, location, role and study preferences, availability, your answers, and your LinkedIn profile link.
Email. When you write to us, we keep your email and its content.
Research notes. When you subscribe, we collect your email address and the date you confirmed it.
Website use. Google Analytics records how the website is used, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location.
Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) to run and protect the website.

We do not run user accounts, comments or advertising on this website, and we do not sell personal data.

Why we collect it

To review internship applications and contact applicants.
For interns and research collaborators who join us: to show their name, photo, profile and work in our publications.
To reply to your messages.
To send research notes to people who asked for them. Every note has an unsubscribe link.
To see which pages are read, so we can improve the website.
To keep the website running, secure and free of spam.

Where your data is kept and who sees it

Applications and emails are stored on our hosting provider's servers and in our company mailbox. They are seen only by people who review applications or handle enquiries for AlgoTrade Pte. Ltd. Research-note subscribers are stored and emailed by Brevo, our email service provider, which handles the data on our behalf. Website-use data is processed by Google Analytics. Apart from these service providers, we share personal data with third parties only when the law requires it.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser to count visits and see how the website is used. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may record standard technical data when the font files are requested. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

We keep internship applications for up to 12 months after the application round closes, then delete them, unless you join us. Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your request and for our records. Research-note subscribers are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your email.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@quantex.com.sg. We will reply within 30 days.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
